• Tried out their sealskinz knock off socks today. No rain, but seemed to block the wind well. Will pair with some merino socks when the weather gets colder.

  • Mine seems to have had a generous restock today

  • My local store had no lights on release day but had loads last Sunday when I went in. Presume they are having distribution issues with all the new stores.

  • Everyone I know who has these lights has lost the back cover at some point

I joined the club last night, it fell off on the rough roads around here I think.

Thanks for the blu-tac tip. Has anyone used the cover off a usb stick or owt else similar for this?

  • Used the gloves for the first time a couple of days ago.
    Very warm and good grip.
Can't comment of waterproof quality as yet.
Slightly poor fit for my hands tbh.
Overall I'm quite pleased so far given the price.

The ones that Lezyne use on their lights might work. I think one of mine if dead so you can have the rubber cap. Will have a look tonight.

  • That'd be awesome if so, thanks.

  • Is it any good? Their £12 blended scotch whose name escapes me is my go to for 'everyday' whisky.

  • I’ll let you know later - not tried it yet. I thought their £17 speyside was pretty good, though.

  • Is that queen margot? Just won an award I think

  • Think that's Lidl's; Aldi won an award for their Highland Black last year.

  • Their Speyside is excellent, and an absolute bargain at £17.

  • That's the one! Highland Black.
@AlexD yeah, their single malt range is decent. Love Aldi!

  • I did rave about Aldi winter gloves..but it now appears although they performed excellent the seams are giving up..they can get a bit clammy and sticky to remove if you get hot.
Not sure whether it's worth repairing with thread and glue? As per original construction method.

  • Has anyone experience of using one of these? Is there enough oomph to seat tubeless tyres? It’s about half the price of their normal compressor and looks pretty compact too

  • Catford Aldi had a turbo trainer down to £12.49 last night. One left just inside the door.

They also had a few of these https://www.aldi.co.uk/bikemate-folding-bike-stand/p/086521230463400 for 99p (down from £8.99), look okay for when you need to do some tinkering with the rear wheel off the ground.

  • Oh God Aldi (Dominion) fruit pastilles are awful.

    Never again.

  • Nice sideways thinking.

  • Loving the dual functionality.

Have given it a good wobble and not been squashed yet either.

  • Can't see an option to buy. Looks like it's a 25mph model..which I don't think is legal in the uk. Perhaps that's the reason.

  • It's listed in the in-store flyers.
