Picked up a pair of the lighter RC500's to stop me getting the Rapha Explores. Replacing my ageing Shimano MTB shoes for commuting/touring. Hoping they'll be closer to my Spezh Audax shoes for stiffness but easier to walk in. Will report back.

Just wish they had replaceable heel pads. I always wear them down & then they're useless.

Maybe they'r adding a feature for #buyers to signal when it's time to buy new shoes (razor-blade-logic)? Or they haven't thought it trough.

My old giro factor didn't have replaceable heel pads either... they only fixed that with a later version
