My GF has just got a new bike with TRP HYRD calipers. I tried to bed them in a bit and the rear is totally fine, you can lock up the wheel really easily. The front however is far less effective. The lever action feels nice, but they just don't bite very well.
Any tips to get a better grip between the pad and rotor? Does it just need more bedding in or could I improve it a bit with sandpaper?
I'm putting a bigger cassette on this afternoon so I will check then - you mean when the leave is released can i screw in the little setup locking screw?
If I can't what does this mean? It's a Croix de Fer straight from a shop so it was all set up by them.
