Internal battery
I've got a SM-BTR2 you could have cheap

Oh yeah? How much are you after?
Cheers,

Think I have an almost new charger I could help you out with. Let me check. T

Soo... turns out I can run mechanical on this - https://bikerumor.com/2012/07/26/parlee-updates-tt-and-z5-bikes-both-now-di2mechanical-in-one-more/
I’ve been offered a full ultegra Di2 11 speed group with 6700 cranks, external battery though, which may not be as slick as an internal but who cares what the nds looks like?
Or I could split my other bike and put mechanical Sram red on this... 🤷♂️Dilemmas dilemmas, ultegra Di2 or mechanical Sram red?

Red.
-
• #32
Your existing Red bits but with an Etap upgrade...
-
• #33
Have you ridden electronic before? Personal preference but now I have, I won't go back to mechanical.
-
• #34
No I’ve not, that’s mostly the appeal - never ridden modern carbon either...
-
• #35
if the groupset is currently using a SM-EW90-A and SM-JC41 then it'll work with my internal Battery.
-
• #36
Is the RED stuff you have 10 speed with the older style shifters? Di2 will big a big improvement over the shifting feel of that. SRAM got so much better with 11spd

Cool, I’m looking at the price of the charger and the junction box id need as well - and the fact is have to bring the bike in the house to charge it... still interested in the internal option... 👍🏻
-
• #38
Yup, I’m going Di2 as it eliminates the only issue I have with shimano in the stupid flappy brake lever...
-
• #39
I've got a brand new charger if you need one?
-
• #40
Di2 group I have is currently running an SM-EW67A and what looks like a SM-JC41... so to get an internal setup I’d need an EW-90-A/B

Cool - how much are you after?
Cheers! -
• #42
Now they’re making wireless force I’m hopeful 11speed red will get cheaper!

Hangover parts hanging... need to sand and clear coat the bars and post...

On the hunt for a carbon stem, but will probably paint this stem for a laugh for now...
In other news I’ve got a rotor 3D crank and rings one their way, all I need now to build this first iteration is a cassette and chain - and carbon pads, anyone got any recommendations? Black prince or swisstop yellow ones? -
• #45
Depending on how spendy you’re feeling you could get @hoops to do you a stem.
-
• #47
Yeah good shout, I did contact fat creations who painted the frame about maybe doing the stem and post but haven’t heard back from him... bah, I can’t afford it anyway, rattle can will do...
-

Lifeline pads.
-
• #49
Yeah? The blue ones? They’re only £5! 👍🏻👍🏻

Cassette and chain away from being able to build this - tried to be savvy and get Evans to price match a 105 cassette and chain for £55 but apparently they only price match bricks and mortar shops in London, ah well... got the swisstop yellow pads for £21 👍🏻
This weekends job is sanding the red off the bars and clear coating them and the stem...

If you could somehow make the build look exactly like that mock up I think it could well be the coolest bike ever. Like riding a cartoon.
