As I want to race the RaTN as time-efficient as possible I was wondering if contacting some hotels beforehand and asking how flexible their check-in/out times are is within the rules and spirit of the race. No booking or reservations of course but just inquiring. I would think this falls into the research-category and is fine but I want to make sure. :)
