Added bonus: you'll never accidentally grab more groceries than you can carry home.

That is a strong cargo bike game right there. Built in seat, Seatbelt, even has a coin operated lock.

That's brilliant

Built in seat, Seatbelt
We’re joking about this, but that’s actually a pretty handy place to have a seat and leaves 95% the cargo space free, lol!
I came into London yesterday. Saw two Christianas in Regent’s Park being ridden by mums with kids in the front. One was 3-up with kids in the front which was quite impressive.

eBullitt e8000 delivering eBullitt e6100
Anyone thinking about the e6100 unit some useful info for you...
Same size and form as the e8000
Noticeably quieter than the e8000 (at least when new, will see once they've got miles on them)
More efficent, goes a bit further on the same size battery.
Tbh I can barely tell a difference in power between the two, the e8000 is certainly happier at higher rpm (100rpm+), but the e6100 has a more subtle engagement, so depends what your after.
Shifter buttons of the e6000 are gone, replaced by more ergo friendly buttons. Prefer the fake mechanical e8000 shifters myself and you can possibly swap them for the new e7000 fake mechanicals when they come out but will have to see.

Ace!
I’ve been further researching belt drive conversion of the new e6100 ebullitt . I think I can get it to work with
- Slimmer MU-UR500 shift motor
- Gates 28T CDX sprocket XMN-D for alfine di2
- Gates 50T front spider and ring for Steps
- Slimmer MU-UR500 shift motor

Yeah but...

Dunno bro, you can still see over the front. Needs more stack.
Oh also, who was it on-here that poo-poo’d those old Pashley Pronto/Mailstar monsters? Are they really awful?

Had a alfine8 e6100 with that Di2 unit on it last week, unless gates do a narrower than normal belt I can't see it fitting. Shimano are meant to be making a lower profile unit at some point, or is that MU-UR500 already the narrower one?
-
• #2417
That is the new one. Something like 30% narrower.

I've been wanting to do something like this for a couple years - I cut off the lower frame from a trolley, but haven't got round to mounting the basket onto anything yet. It's sitting on my driveway if anyone wants it!
I also have a cargo trike which I don't have space for if anyone will give it a good home - only missing a chain. Currently has a half-assed ply box thingwith a seat but you can bolt just about anything to the frame:

For those with a business...

Thinking of getting one for work stuff but living upstairs I can't see myself enjoying lugging it up/down as much as I would the occasional ride.

The Douze I have can be split in two parts and carried upstairs...
Although that would be a pain over time.
Was it anyone on-here looking well pissed as they pushed a Babboe up Crooms Hill this morning?
