Paint will be the last thing I do most likely but provided I don't decide I can't suffer the road tax on it anymore I don't see myself parting company with it in the foreseeable future. There's just nothing else I really want (possibly an E350 Cdi but the Alfa is a bit more characterful) out at the moment and I won't buy a new car so I can predict a good few years of 159 ownership ahead.

Did a bit of part ordering last night.
Have gotten a new set of traditional Alfa Romeo badges for bonnet, rear, wheel centres and steering wheel centre to fit and also a manual gearknob adapter (which will require minor modification to fit) and a bunch of additional USB sockets to fit in discrete spots about the cabin.
I've been speaking to an exhaust fabricator about getting a custom stainless steel setup built and also to a body shop regarding partial respray to get the exterior back to it's glory.
What have I gotten myself into...
