Putting out feelers for this Koga Miyata which I bought and restored, to know whether I can justify keeping it or not.
Size is 56 but I usually ride 54 and this fits me perfectly (short stem).
It was bought off of Facebook before I took it apart and cleaned it thoroughly, put a new chain on, waxed the whole frame to a nice shine, put some new matching white stripe 25c Schwalbe Ones and polished the wheels and spokes.
The RSX groupset is fully working as I tested it on a ride home before the restoration (and now two times thereafter) , and I was surprised at how well it shifts. Crankset is a 27 - 46 triple with an 11-24 cassette, and the saddle is a vintage San Marco Rolls.
The FM-1 tubing is triple butted and spline reinforced and was supposedly equivalent to Columbus' TSX tubing.
Pick up in North Acton or can meet most places in London and it'd be ready to ride away.
Asking for £450 (dropped to £400--£350--£320--£280)
