  • Did some stickers, and even put up a webshop and the whole bit, for anyone who might be interested <3

    https://stridsland.com/product-category/products/

  • Been looking forward to these!

  • Phew, got the last white ones

  • Woop woop! Thanks @dr_frankenbike, @slothy and the others from here who bought some. Crazy, they're almost already gone.

  • Yeah, they went fast! did get an order in for 3 though :)

  • missed them, more please

  • Thanks guys. Ill make more :)

So this little voodoo popped up for cheap. Disc ready! I love this era of mtb's where there's both canti and disc mounts.

Quick mockup with 400mm fork looks like it should be proper fun. It'll be for my partner, will probs be her mom bike / commuter / kid carrier etc. excuse the mess and crap pics.

Its occurred to me i've got retro mtb projects comin out my ass. I won that Rock Lobster too, and the kind @platypus has been a huge help by picking it up, packing it, and soon sending it to Copenhagen. Excited to see it!

  • I am coming very late to this thread...but SUBBED! Great collection, and like you say every bike is a Current Project really.

  • Well jealous. A Voodoo mtb is what I was dreaming of as a kid. Where did you find this one?

  • Thanks a lot, i appreciate that!

  • It was posted on facebook "market place" in copenhagen for about 55 gbp, and i wrote to the guy only few hours after it was posted, but i was already nr 2 in line. He worte back later saying the other guy couldnt make it so it was mine if i wanted. Turns out his address was right up the street. Super cool/funny guy. mid early 40's, had bought it when he was young, didnt really ride anymore, didnt have a smartphone, only wanted cash, "yea i hear people are riding 29" wheels today!", i ended up buying all the bits except the wheels for another 55, full of xtr, raceface, and other exciting stuff i should be able to sell and get a lot of my money back. These are the kind of deals that make my hours of cruising classifieds worth it haha.

Oh yea and after i bought it, i threw a picture of it on my story. turns out my colleague was nr 1 in line, but had to go pick up a guitar he'd been looking at instead hah! so kinda sad, but also good.

  • for another 55, full of xtr, raceface, and other exciting stuff

I'm envy. :P Great catch, can't wait to see it finished!

  • Cheers! :)

  • Is the market place better than the "CYKLING: Sælges/købes/byttes" group? I sold a few things on there, but gosh was it hard work (same for DBA)... I don't remember buying anything though.
I should send you a shopping list!

  • I find the market place sometimes has hidden gems because people in all those cycling groups know what to take for their stuff, and also sometimes too much. Haha, hard work as in lots of people lowballing and stuff? I use it very often i gotta say, but as with everything you get used to it.

  • Today was a big day! Our little dude has gotten good at sitting by himself on the ground, so his neck and back are strong enough for small trips in a bike seat. First little roll around the parking lot today was a great success. Super neutral facial expressions (which is much better than frowny ones), but thats usually how he reacts when there's a lot to take in haha.

Tomorrow we're riding a couple kilometers through the city, then taking the train to here to ride another few km and meet up for 'brunch' over the fire with friends who spent the night in a shelter :)

    Have a good weekend!

  • Exhibit A: A pair of Rapha sunglasses, BNIB, never been out the box ever, 40% off web price. Free delivery at your convenience by yours truly in town, or shipped the very next day. I must have spent 2 hours solid over 4 days ( PMs and texts) with the buyer...
Exhibit B: Spesh Power saddle. The buyer sent one of his driver to pick it up. Only said driver was in an actual semi-trailer, calls me when I was out for 10 minutes, and of course he can't go in my street or park anywhere near... so he leaves, and we have to start again...
It's not bad, just a bit long winded, especially after selling and buying on here.
As for advertised prices, please tell me no one pays anywhere near that: my faves are " I bought that Pinarello in May for 70k but now it's September and cycling is not my thing so you can have it for a bargainous 60K".

  • Awww...

Great pics of 8tallet btw, I didn't know you could go up (I pass it all the time as I live on Amager and usually ride locally).

  • Wish my 'pa was strollin me around on a Nishiki singlespeed radmachine! (Same shoes btw, love them!)

  • Kæmpe fan af det første billede. Han ser vildt nuttet ud. Jeg glæder mig meget til at prøve samme følelse. M

Edit: also fan of photo number 2

  • Very cute! Parenting done right and sick Nishiki

  • Good on you!
Looking forward to more bicycle-parenting updates :)

  • Thanks everyone! lots of <3
