agreed. it was terrible...even when Anna Soubry pointed out the the public are watching this they still went on.
as an aside, one odd thing to have occurred from all this, personally speaking, is that I now think i might be a Scottish nationalist. the SNP MPs contributing to these debates seem to be notably more sensible, reasonable and frankly human than so many of their colleagues on other parties, and I genuinely feel sorry for the scottish people being shackled to the little englanders who on the one hand seem to think the union exists by Divine right and on the other hand couldn't give a fuck about scotland since there are no votes for them there. if I was scotland i would ditch the union and go alone in europe.

+1 for the SNP.
In Wales I was a Plaid Cymru voter. After a few election cycles of voting Labour in Manchester and Bolton, I'll be looking for alternatives this year. SNP are to the left of PC, but both are generally left-of-centre despite being nationalist parties. I guess the theme is looking after those who were screwed over by England. Plus ça change...
Anna Soubry being shouted down was disgraceful by the way. Lowlight of this evening in the House.
