Really isn't the same. GE is not single issue, ref is, personality of party leaders matters... Loads of reasons the result isn't cross applicable

What we would have to hope is that in a GE the parties would lay out their Brexit positions clearly and we would vote on that basis. But yeah I think after GE we will just end up with more of the same.
Not to mention that single-issue voting is fucking stupid

True. But that is not how the elctorate will see it. It will be fought on a single issue or become a proxy for that single issue.
