There is a heronry in Kelsey Park in Beckenham. Green corridors like this are amazing for birdlife - living along the railway we seem to get an amazing variety of birds for surburban London. Love lying in bed listening to owls hooting.

There are a good number of juveniles to be seen at walthamstow wetlands at the moment!

There’s a colony of herons nesting on the island in the lake in Kelsey Park, so you see them all around the wider Beckenham area.

I saw a fox chasing a rat on Waterlink Way once, on my way to a forum drinks. #csb
