Yeah but no but yeah but no...

Looks great but prices are bonkers - near parity with Rolex subs, no cyclops (👍) but lots are molested with new bezels, hands etc, is it special enough for an end gamer...?

Money wise I don’t see me ever spending more than this on a vintage piece so it’s a one time shot, my folks will contribute too and I will literally get the ‘Son, I am Dissapoint’ meme if I rock up with a ratty Snowflake!

Yeah, I mean, you’re a vintage guy so you’re always going to lean that way, I’m the opposite... those snowflakes are deeply cool watches though.

I just feel something Rolex like a DJ/DD/OP makes sense as an end gamer - neutral enough to dress up or down, tough, waterproof, will age well, etc. But I’m probably projecting my preferences onto you...
