I don't see how they can resolve the deadlock unless they are willing to get a cross party leave. Corbyn is still a leaver that has to be dragged kicking and screaming into another vote.
Hammond would support a brexit compromise with Corbyn I think.
But you may be right that a hard leaver gets them more votes, but a GE is over 3 years down the line. Brexit fencesitting is running out of time though.
Gove is a total ignoramus on Northern Ireland, worse than May. Yay...
Hammond may have the charisma of a bag of out of date salad but I think he's somewhat honest / competent and willing to compromise. It's sad that doesn't count in the leadership run.
Brexit is really a joke that's no longer funny.
