Just watched MSR. Alaphilippe’s win felt a bit inevitable but Christ it was impressive.

Forcing a selection and then winning the sprint was proper billy big balls stuff.

Seriously big watts for after 290km and at 62kg.

I expect his talents basically make him a modern Valverde with a swing towards better TT as opposed to pure mountain ability? (- blood bags)
