Can't unsee upside down risers. Hoping they're just swept back flat bars at an angle in the photo

The suggested max weight is 150kg including the rider, which I believe is the same of the steel version. I think I've more than likely exceed that a few times. In terms of the weight being high up it handles much better than I was expecting to be honest. Clearly you can't be carving up the corners and it's a case of keep it upright and sitting and spinning. I have found the kickstand a bit troublesome at times nearly toppled the bike over when loading up on a hill or an uneven surface.

Thanks for the feedback!

Pretty sure they're these bars from Ritchey. But I'm pretty confident that a messenger is able to build a bike that best suit their needs.

Not doubting that. Doesn't mean it looks good though.
But yeah its probably those bars -

I think my normal road bike weighs more than that :S
Someone parks a Bullit near here that I see often. Talk about dangling a carrot. Want.

I'm not even trying to pretend I'm able to follow what you're saying, but could I just ask the very basic question - why are those V-shaped segments on the bottom not the other way around?
-
• #2385
They really should be the other way round if they wanted aero!

Is a donky, or diy the only (viable not-shit) UK option like this?

• #2387
19kg lol
-
• #2388
18,9kg actually.
Sorry, I just assumed that everyone knows my tongue is firmly planted in my cheek these days. -
• #2389
That's about the same as Donky, no?
-
• #2390
Probably, yea. Seems way too heavy for what it can do.

With proper tire width even.

Do not understand why you didn't post this bike from the same site as well though
: ]Anyone else feel like you can just sense when I bike was built for the express purpose of getting likes on IG?

Late at night, empty streets, strapped down tight, what could have possibly gone wrong? It was a piece of cake to be honest, didn't feel sketchy at all.

Looks fine, I'd say put lights on the bbq rails so it's not misjudged how wide you are since in some lighting conditions it might not stand out.
Out of interest - how much weight do these take?
Obviously I haven't had the chance to try one of these (and also a Bullit I have yet only driven with not much of a load on it), hence I'm wondering not only about how much of a faff it is to have the weight so high, above the wheel (as opposed to Bullits, Urban Arrow etc.), in terms of riding / handling - but also when simply parking the thing.. I see those have rather wide kickstands, but how is that really working out with heavy / wide loads (it does look like the bike would fall over quite easily)?
