Expenses are a bit of a hot topic right now. This MP basically didn't do anything wrong and is still being crucified for it

He produced false invoices. You try pulling that shit in any other walk of life, and see how far you get. It may be he didn't need to do anything wrong, but isn't that the case with pretty much all crimes?

Indeed. The fact his fraud was totally unnecessary just means he's stupid as well as dishonest.
