I'd be cautious. Some manufacturers recommend a maximum of 40mm of spacers below the stem (above the HT).

You may be below that. Just saying.

With it being Chinese carbon too..and 1" I think that's a good shout so will measure. For looks I'd much prefer a lower position but will see how it feels riding. I've not test ridden or anything so it may well be too high.
And thanks - it was a mess before (with the blue ribble paint and threaded fork) so is nice to refresh this half decent frame. I'm now just debating the best place to put this Ribble crest that I stumbled across. Headtube? Seat tube?

Just purchased these off eBay for £37. They arrived very well packaged and on time etc but the seller left out this massive scratch/gouge from the original pictures. I've messaged to ask how it was caused but a very large part of me thinks I should send them back. It seems to just be the lacquer, no sound change etc, but they're so light I'm not sure how much of a chance I want to take. They're the slx ones so 280g or something silly.

Thoughts?

I’d just return it.

Doubtful it was caused in transit and he should have been transparent about the condition.
