Calling it the 'Geoff' bar can only be read as the ultimate dig at Jeff Jones, right? FWIW these are the same as the Alpkit/Stedlocks bar (diff. length) - made by Leadtec TW...

They would probably prefer to call it an homage rather than a dig

Apparently named for Brant's grandad Geoff Hall, whoever he was.

I got some from aliexpress, brand called ekfan or something. They've been fine but I don't ride non-drops often so don't have much of a comparison point. Took ages to arrive but were £2 or something.
Re loop bars, it could only last so long. Kinda always thought alpkit should have stuck with their love mud bars, bet they wish they had now. Seems to be a wave of new versions now and I don't think every non-jeff will cave under the pressure.

Brant was behind the Alpkit version too, no? Back when he was doing their Sonder bikes stuff? Certainly seemed that way on the singletrackworld handbags thread

I'm gonna have to get my lawyers on this......I cannot allow the Stedloops to be reproduced in this way! How very dare they.

I'm sure there was a pic on Sat which isn't there now?
I placed a pre-order so hope they're decent.

I kinda wished you hadn't bothered posting that now that I've spunked £15 on some overpriced girps!

So the Mickey is very similar to the Confucius.
The Brian is 40/42/44cm so something roadie. The Mike is 630mm and only £13. Does anyone know what the last two are?
Edit: also how does the preorder work? I ordered something else hoping that I'd only pay one delivery fee but who knows

Just ordered some of the On -One ones. Notice Ribble have some on their new 'adventure' bike too.

Geoff has sold out, they're pushing Mickey now on fb.

The Mike looks very like the Fairdale Archer bars, although perhaps with less rise.

If anyone wants them, I've got a Love Mud Confucius bar you can have for nowt. Sitting in the shed, nearly good as new.
You will have to collect them from down south though.

I ordered a pair of the On One Geoff bars a couple of months ago. They just arrived and are looking pretty sweet! Never owned any OG Jones bars (way too expensive given I get out on my MTB a couple of times a year thanks to kids) so I can't compare directly but they look very similar to pictures I've seen of Jones bars.
There's no weight quoted on the On One site and I wondered if that would be why these are so cheap. But mine come in at 550g, so pretty much the same as the more expensive Jones bar.
I'm all for protecting innovation, but I can't understand why the Jones bar is so much more expensive than these. If his were £50ish then I'd have gone with the original, but £25 for the On One vs £155 for the Jones made this an easy decision.
Looks like pre-order is open (https://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/HBOOGB/on-one-geoff-handlebar) worth a punt? Already have the Alpkit LoveMud variant on my 1x1 but fancy more trying more backsweep. Does it really make a difference?
