Looks great. Would mounting the front light underneath the basket be possible/necessary? I have found that basket contents can impede the beam and just reflect light back in your face!

Great bike and fantastic background, wish there would be such vibrant places to shoot bikes here...

I haven't ridden it with fully loaded basket at night yet, for visibility it's fine as is now. B&M makes a mount that can be attached to mudguard mount on the fork, but I think it would be even less visible there. I will see later how to solve it, maybe will look for another light with more convenient mounting.
Though my N+1 makes me think now about swapping it for a Brompton for both commuting and travelling that I do a lot. -

I have a pleasure that about 5 of 17 km commute are along the seaside, just a few trees and bushes separating me from this beach. Could be twice as much but in the next city the surface is terrible, instead of tarmac on the bike lane there is pavement with rounded edges, very uncomfortable, so I ride on the roads there instead.

Thanks! It's a parking garage below a concert hall/theater school/music academy.
Just paint a wall yourself :)

That is great. I love that. Is that an old post office bike?
Deffo needs your restoration skills.

Looks like an old post office bike, yeah. It should go in the 'ways not to lock your bike' thread as well. Possibly not very attractive to thieves, have seen it around for years.

I saw your Peugeot today at De Specialist. Looked great already!
Time to finally show off my new commuter. I was initially considering either a steel-framed gravel or a folder, but a Black Friday deal made me want to try a belt drive with Nexus 8 IGH, despite alloy F&F. So far so good, very dependable, zero maintenance and with Conti Winter tyres only black ice was a problem throughout winter. Also very happy with a switch from rack and pannier to Wald basket, so much more functional. Longboards are also so much better than Bluemels on my previous one.
