  • I've always wondered what the deal was with CAAD 8's. I remember when I first started looking at road bikes ~2007 these were entry level bikes, I guess kinda like the CAAD Optimo. Was the CAAD 8 reserved for a lower-end road bike, or was there a previous version that succeeded the CAAD 7 as a high end model? Never understood this!

    As far as I know the USA made we're good, as already stated. Certainly the frame I have is super light and made very well. It also has the full carbon forks paired with it. Favourite bike I've ever owned. It's only off the road now as I feel 15+ year old carbon forks are a risk when I don't know the full history.
