  • Those are shit, had one bolted to the floor of our Bullit, but not enough dampening for the cobbled streets of Ghent. Those things are made for the plush roads in Holland.

Bodged a Melia baby seat in a hammock with some lashing straps and old innertubes. Our daughter slept in it comfortably until she was big enough to fit in the bigger Melia seat that is now strapped into the Bullit seat.

  • Dank u wel for the tips! Do you have some pictures?

  • Graag gedaan ! :)

Do not have any pictures sadly but it was a full bodged diy setup, it was suspended from the Bullit canopy frame with inner-tubes, the 5-point harness was also attached to the cargo floor with a lashing strip for safety.
We only used it 3,5 months until she was big enough to fit in the larger seat. Luckily I did not buy the adapter (loaner from friends) which would have been money wasted. She was clearly a lot happier in the hammock.

Using the adapter would also mean having to carry the maxi-cosi with you off the bike, which is a pain. A carrier was much more versatile in those circumstances.

  • The «merde» sticker made me laugh so much.

Amazing project! Didn't know about Maxi Cosi adapter, please share results on parents thread!

  • So good.

  • Any chance of a re-up of these pics? Since pedalroom died they've disappeared off the internet.

  • Yeah second that!

  • Pealroom is back up now. I had intended to save the pics myself.

  • Yeah, no pics showing for me - pleeease fix them!
