  • Was inspired by the various builds on this forum so thought I would post this. Have just finished it. Is a hill climb fixie. A real KOMbringer

    Frame: Storck aero 2 platinum, 20th anniversary – lightest proper aero frame with horizontal dropouts 1200g
    Forks: THM Clavicula – that full aero tho and high modulus feel 360g
    Bottom Bracket: Kogel - smooth even for a ceramic bottom bracket 44
    Stem: 3T Arx Ti 140mm – not overcompensating for anything, but oh so pro 150g
    Wheel, front: Citec 8000/63mm clincher - real wind slicer even at hill climb speeds, 640g
    Wheel rear: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/aforcewheels/al33-the-fastest-aluminum-bicycle-wheels ("super alloy") laced to a 32h 130mm Paul Components hub, 931g total
    Cranks: Aero Vision, track and hella aesthetic 818g

    Less fun stuff:

    Front Caliper: Ultegra (cost-conscious reliability) 160g
    Headset: No idea (nor how they work) 100g
    Bar Tape: Old tape 50g
    Front Brake Lever: Old lever 50g
