I have one of these. It's a beautiful thing and astonishingly cheap, I've taken it touring and up Mt. Ventoux, and I loved it for a few months, but it does have its issues. The paint is chippy as hell, but more importantly the front brakes don't adjust – the mounting hole in the fork is drilled too high, so even with long-reach callipers the brake pad won't go down far enough to clear the edge of the rim. I wore through a tyre wall and I'm now about two months into a warranty claim and getting nowhere fast. If you go for it I hope you have a better experience than me!

Bit of a dredge ^ but for what it's worth I'm very happy with my Ribble 525. Also chippy paint, but a perfect winter / commuter IMO. 25mm max tyres with PDW 'guards.
Neo retro :)
