I'm getting a new front door, what are the considerations for locks?
If you can, spend money on a London bar and a Birmingham bar for the door frame, they will make it considerably harder to kick a door in
Are you in a 'door gets kicked in regularly' area?
Get a multi-point lock like you get on PVC doors (can be fitted to hardwood one too).
Get a good Eurolock cylinder, I'd recommend Mul-T-Lock. You can only get the keys cut on presentation of the security card and they are pretty anti-tamper proof.
And three 'anti lift' hinges.
