This is the whole one! Think it’s my favourite...
And while the hooman is up and ready for another mind numbing day at work... the princess isn’t quite ready to leave the bed yet...

erm... indoor cats' people. Do your cats run around the flat / house like mad before they do their no.2? Patch runs round like crazy for like 5 mins, then she digs and shits... A LOT! Always A LOT! And she is not even an indoor cat, but he amount of friends, I mean enemies have increased from 1 to 3... so she is still staying put a lot.

An animal is vulnerable from predators when taking a dump. It's their smelliest, most vulnerable daily event. This is why cats run around like lunatics before, after or both. It's just a faded/confused instinct.
It's also why they bury it. The perfect cat dump is to dig a deep hole, bury it. And then run away as fast as they can.
Ours does exactly what you describe too although sometimes he tries to run away from his shit while it's dangling from his arse by a hairball. It'd be funny if it didn't involve so much scrubbing.

Yeah our younger cat goes mental after a shit. He’s not great at cleaning yet either so we often have to wipe for him, which isn’t ideal.

I think I've posted this before in here but I'm currently sitting here with a smile on my face fondly remembering my old (now deceased) cat that used to spend about five minutes digging the most perfect 6+ inches deep hole in the ground before taking a dump next to it and walking off. Every time.

...did we have the same cat ;-)
one of my old cats had really long fur, and 60% of the time he was fine, but i think like humans, sometimes when it was a big one there was a lot of mess - how he cleaned it himself i dont know (ugh) - there were many times with a damp cloth and old biker glove trying to clean him has he snoozed on the sofa with a suddenly awoke black-eyed-double skin shredding pawed attack evenings.

This is precisely what one of my cats does, while her sister, born and raised at the same time, has no trouble burying her poos so we never know about it...

Enjoying the climbs in Majorca, especially Sant Salvador which was stunning and all the better for a friendly cat at the top

I broke the Kitten last night. I ran him up and down the stairs so much chasing a feathery thing that he had to stop halfway up and take a breather as he was panting.

Spoken to vet’s practice today and I’ll have to give her a full new dose next month, which to be honest, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to me...
Question for everyone, how often, if at all, do you deworm your cats? I do it once every 6 months... used to do it once every 3 months as per the old vet’s advice.

3-6 when I remember.
Waily being tricked by the crows. One distracts him by jumping about and making a racket whilst the other grabs whatever leftover bit of chicken is in the road and legs it.
