I'll try my best to finish it though, as I'd love to see it on the roads, even if with the frame in current conditions.

If I can do it on a Sturmey close ratio, you can do it on a Gillott, surely.? How's the Gillott getting built up?

I will probably be using a simplex TDf gear which is also very close ratio to the point where you wonder if it's worth bothering with the gears at all.
Is it missing parts or is it a matter of just building up the bike?

I was looking at it on the Gillott Facebook page only the other day, it's a great looking frame. Bring it as a work in progress?
