seems like Parliament's role is being disrespected
She’s way beyond that already.
Problem is, she would seem to see it as the other way around.

If May would table the WA with a second vote on it (WA Vs Remain) Bercow would allow it I suppose?
Because that would make it a new proposal?

Brexit is one big Gråtrunka.

Or a Baggerzooi (a big mess made by the the crud your dredge up from clearing Amsterdam canals. Contain bicycles, Dyson vacuums, wetherspoon coaster, tophats, maybots, the occasional corpse)
-
• #18856
Fun fact! Amsterdam smells slightly less shit when they are 'bagger'ing.

Dunt bang on the money again

• #18858
Wow, really???
Whenever the tide of the River Lagan in Belfast is low we get hit with a delicious silt/rotten stuff smell, it surprises me that the Amsterdam Canals Bagger isn't too bad :)

Dunt and DAG make the brexitshambles almost worthwhile.

It's more that as a born and raised Rotterdammer I prefer the smell of rotten soil over the smell of that drug-tourist ridden shithole. :)
-
• #18861
Hah yeah healthy silt smell VS shitty tourist weed smell 1-0 :)

• #18862
Can you imagine he misery of actually working on this shit, in the trenches?

I see Liam Fox announcing trade deals agreed (carry overs) with Norway and Iceland are worth 30bn, but i can only see c.6bn of exports to there from the UK. Have I missed something in this “major milestone”? Can't see the "with Liechtenstein and Switzerland, it accounts for close to half of the trade we’re seeking continuity for" amounts to c140bn (half the 274bn export 2017 figures I can find.)

Norway is our biggest supplier of natural gas, and I guess we're now eating a lot of Skyr?
The figures emanating from the mouth of dfds Liam Fox never seem to match official figures. A previously claimed surplus on trade with South Korea seemed to exceed the total value of trade I could find. -

I've binged through about 30 episodes of the Cakewatch podcast in the last week, now up to October 2018. They get a little sweary occasionally, but it's a good listen. A smattering of good guests too.

My guess is that the difference in import/export numbers reflects UK consumption of Norwegian gas and Icelandic fish in pretty significant quantities. The relatively lower figure for exports isn't because Icelandics and Norwegians don't like UK products, it's just that with a total of just over 5 million people theres a limit to how much UK output they are able to absorb.

Hmm. As suspected then.
