What's the issue with the Zeppelins? Have been pondering a pair for my tourer.

They're not really wide enough for any of the new crop of good 50mm+ tyres. Barely clear the slick Gravel Kings I'm running, I had to swap out the original SKs because they came up large. I want to move on to 2.1" Thunder Burts in the future.
I also personally think the design is a bit fussy, I don't really like the fittings and I worry about the longevity of aluminium compared to stainless steel.
