Poor David Martin.
Millwall are a shower of cunts, though, and it was nice of Shane Ferguson to remind us of that.

the fulham goal was a £140mn calamity, although i heard a stat today virgil has only been dribbled past once in the last year in the premiershit so maybe he's allowed one
i think we were trying to slow the game down and play it slow to give players a nice easy game, bit silly really, fulham did well and had a few 3 on 1s as they countered from corners , had me on edge all game
mo can't hit a barn door from inside the box these days, where is steve peters ( ? ) ( that guy who worked with british cycling ) when you need him

Liverpool and City are all about intensity with and without the ball and neither really looks like they know what to do at less than 100%.
First mistake I’ve seen from van Dijk but it was an absolute shocker.

It's a mystery, isn't it? Have the players fallen out of love with the system? Does he have the players he needs to make it work? I'm so confused, the players aren't moving the ball around quickly, they're playing sideways football, afraid to take a shot/make a run into the box, it's all so predictable for opposing teams...
I don't get it...

the guardian said:
It just is not happening for Maurizio Sarri and his players at the
moment, not in front of goal at any rate. But you scored a buttload midweek! Doesn't make any sense.

But Dynamo Kiev are not the mighty Neverton...
-
• #149335
Dynamo Kiev were the worst team we have played this season and that is saying something given our run of lucky draws in cup competitions against lower league sides and our easy group in the Europa. Only winning the home leg 3-0 was an issue of under performance.

It is the failure to take opportunities coupled with a bizarre inability to defend. These players are good. They won the league two years ago and the cup last year. The system they are being told to play simply does not work in English football.

It's working for Pep, it just isn't working for the group of players we have...
Mental fragility is an issue for us, even when we won the league with Conte I felt it was always there just below the surface...

It took Pep a couple of years to get there working with a decent group of players. He managed to get them to perform even in adversity. Sarri ensures that the players collapse after the slightest set back.

Is the Harry Redknapp makes a team out of rotund old players any good? It's on in gym, but can't hear it over Kisstory.

Is it modeled on the Emirates?
Liverpool got a fair slice of luck when the Fulham goalkeeper dropped a bollock. Whoever wins the title will need things to go their way to a degree I suppose.
Seven without a goal for the Egyptian Michael Ricketts.
Amazingly the Fulham keeper didn’t commit the televised worst mistake of the day #millwall
