Bullhearts attitude gave me strength when my wife was diagnosed with cancer.
He was a better guy than I could ever hope to be and an inspiration.
It might be too early to suggest but a fund raising ride in his name would be a fitting tribute, IMO. -

That's at least three cyclists from 'on here' that i recall passing away too soon.....an Lfgss fund raising ride of some description would be hugely fitting, I think

It's a so sobering when you are mulling over the sadness of losing somebody like Mark, when you remember how many thousands of people are facing a similar struggle to see their kids grow up right now. Just miserable. What an insidious disease.

I can't believe this... I just logged on to ask him how he was doing
Oh man... -

Awful news, go hug a sick mate... Cancer is such a lonely disease, friends can just fall away, people can be terrible cowards in the face of serious illness... RIP, mate, like a boss... xxx

My thoughts are with his partner and children at this difficult time. Hope you've got loads of support and love round you. I bought some of these socks when my mum succumbed to this shitty illness. Makes me smile every time I wear them.

I googled bullheart and there were some
very interesting articles about him in various places. What is very clear is that he defied the odds and did some pretty extraordinary things whilst doing so.He probably packed as many achievements into the last few years of his life as a lot of people do over 40 years.
Hopefully financially his family will be well taken care of through his teachers pension scheme. If it turns out that isn't the case it would be good to have another round of fundraising. The last thing his wife and family will need at this time are financial worries.

Sad about this. I found out weirdly on my insta feed from a totally separate set of friends in the MTB world and didn't realise the crossover from lfgss internet land to real world biker buddies. Fuck Cancer.
Fuck cancer, RIP warrior
