I wasn't being entirely serious about needing a full backstory on every executive involved in the film in order to enjoy it.
It's not really my sort of thing but if there's a social good aspect to it then I'm happy to go and see it in the cinema for a couple of hours of light entertainment and the odd laugh. If not I'll just watch it on some streaming service in a year or not watch it at all. Just was wondering if anyone had any more developed opinions on the subject.
I didn't know about any of the right-wing backlash, I guess because it's totally not interesting or surprising in any way. I suppose if little right-wing babies are crying about people going to see it then that's a good enough reason for me
So right wing edge lords are complaining about Captain Marvel but so are left wing edge lords.
It’s a film, with a strong female lead, pew pew lasers, people that can fly and spaceships. Enjoy it or not for what it is. Do you really need to evaluate everything Stan Lee did in order to know if your moral conscience will let you enjoy this film?
