Sorry, just checked the numbers and that's without the guards, so just a shade over 9 with them on, which is still nice for a gate! You can't see it in the pics but the frame is a sort of deep candy red colour with a lovely glitter effect. It really does shine.

Had to go and check mine (the one at the top of the page). 8.5 with guards!
