Sram 1 x 11-46 10 speed?

Hi guys.

I’m wondering what the best way to go about a 10 speed 1 x 11-46 set up is using sram apex road shifters?

Can a 11 speed rear mech be used with 10 speed shifters?

Sram 10 and 11 speed road mechs are interchangeable. You can't use 11 speed mtb mechs with a 10 speed road shifter. You could however use a 10 speed mtb mech that uses exact actuation.

Not sure whether this is common knowledge or not, however, I can confirm a Sram 11 speed Apex 1 rear mech clears an 11-46 cassette easily. I matched this with 10 speed apex shifters and it works perfectly.

I’m using the Sunrace 11-46 10 speed cassette.
