• What an awful, unhumorous, reply, bro

Backbags, or even a rucksacks, serve a purpose outside of cycling as well as inside it. As far as I can see, framebags, bike packs etc are just a reinvention of the marketing cycle (pun intended)

Hold your hands up, say you were wrong, Get over it and dont embarrass yourself further.

If you aren’t confident enough to use a rack and panniers, dont take it out on those that are.

I’ll warn you now, the next step is an enforced tour of the Carradice factory

  • What the fuck did you just fucking say about bikepacking bags, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in triathlon school, and I've been involved in numerous secret high street brand collaborations, and I have sown over 30.000 framebags myself, BY HAND. I am highly trained in bikepacking and I finished at least top five in some of the world's most demanding ultra-endurenace bikepacking races (number #1 in your local races probably). You are nothing to me but just another luddite who's stuck his head too far down their 30 year old brooks panniers. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting multiple of my artisinal framebuilder friends and your reputation is tanking right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call pannier bags. Panniers are fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can overtake you on my forward geometry titanium-carbon hardtail XC cruiser in over seven hundred ways, and that's not even with my hands on the handlebars (or wireless dropper installed). Not only am I extensively trained in multi-day adventure races, but I have access to an entire arsenal of bicycles all with custom framebags everywhere and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're fucking dead, kiddo.

  • just goes to show you're never too far from copypasta on the interwebs

  • LoL

One of my younger, non pannier using ‘friends’ tells me this is some of Reddits finest work

This and that dog pulling the person off the doorstep at high velocity

  • Everybody's favourite typeface

  • Ok, 2nd favourite

  • Finally got the 650b Isen finished for my girlfriend. Need to get some better cages and a sleeker saddle bag. Also some fine tuning on position to do.

Quite impressed that she almost got the photo etiquette right!

  • Those cages seem to be unusually close to each other.

  • More room for an @Ecobeard approved framebag

  • Cornish bottle cages

  • PHWOOOAAAR

I love me a proper saddle bag gap

  • Yeah we thought that. I think as others have said it must be to maximise frame space for big bottles / frame bag. They do look a bit weird though.

  • Nice work. The hydro hose could be a fair bit shorter if you ever need to rebleed.

  • Yeah was over cautious when setting them up, I hate putting olives and barbs in so much I couldn't be bothered to trim them further

  • I have the same problem on my other bike with Sram. Could probably lose 30cm of hose and gear outer. I just loathe idea of rebleeding.

  • What size frame is it?

  • Considered a sub compact?

  • Might look at one down the line. Managed to pick up the Ultegra compact nice and cheap and in 165mm which is ideal.

  • Apologies, have been stateside for nahbs/bike shop spamming. Cages are slammed as far down as humanly possible to allow for largest frame bag.

  • no response yet from email - usually very quick - is Anna not around anymore?
