Been swapping a few parts around..
Just managed to get 26c tyres in there as I found the 23s brutal after being on fatter tyres from riding other bikes. Hopefully it makes a noticeable difference.
Also considering changing the bars for something else, as not sure I find it that comfortable as it is for long rides... recommendations welcome :)

Cool frameset. What's not comfortable about the bars? Too long / too low / not enough squish?

Swapped out the wheels and seatpost on the Sachs.
Took it for a short (windy) spin, and stopped off outside 35 Tanners Hill where it all began.

Stripped down and ready for a rebuild.
Looks like it'll be Sram Red20 and Chinese carbon.

Just feel too flat, and straight and possibly too long. Maybe I’ll try tilting the levers in ever so slightly. Might also need a 100mm stem opposed to a 110.

In case you didn't notice, there's some reality behind some images.
Also need to buy inner tubes first.. -

Wasn't sure where to put this. Anyone fancy using this for anything? Spotted in a charity shop in Blackheath for £30.

Good proper 'first' ride on this build yesterday.

Thanks. Yes, perfect for amateur use, I'd say.
