Has anyone been to watch keirin in japan? I'm there in September and would love to go watch some. Unfortunately Google refuses to translate anything other than the front page of the official keirin site so I cannot work out a) which tracks are hosting meets while I am in the country or b) how we might get tickets etc.
Any ideas?

There was some discussion of this a few years back. My impression was that the experience left the watcher a little cold - it's all about the betting, with little interest in the individual riders. Apparently the stands are mostly empty, with all the bettors inside checking stats and laying down their cash.
I may have remembered this completely wrong of course.

Anyone know where one could have a some custom bag-sewing done cheaply? Looking to do something close to the Rinko-bag but for my Breakaway and with a zipper. Anyone know anywhere that would be good (and cheap)? Outside Europe is fine by me.

@Pifko thanks, yep @SasenFrAsen I can do something like that and should be relatively cheap depending on material/effort. What dimensions do you need? I’m making a bmx bag later this week maybe so you can see how that looks. PM me.

So,a friend of mine has a carbon frame and the rear Ds dropout leaves around 0,4mm of lateral play in the axle,causing the wheel not to sit straigth.Is it a bad idea to "shim" it with epoxy?Not trying to repair carbon just adding some material,anyone knows?

It's probably a bad idea if you don't know what you are doing! A repair specialist will know how to do an adequate repair.

As I said,not a repair,just need to add some material to make the wheel sit straigth,a beer can shim works but it's not permanent and a hassle to fit

it would not work,the play is lateral,making the DS dropout a little orizontal causing tje wheel to slip.

The frame is carbon but the dropout is probably aluminium. Epoxy is just soft plastic. It only works when mixed with a fibre such as GRP, carbon or Kevlar. Plain epoxy will wear away in minutes. It’ll need a proper repair.

Wear away after minutes of wear, maybe. But it won't have to withstand any wear as the QR is not moving for 99.999% of the time.

Why can’t the coke can shim be epoxy’d (or plain glued) in place? If it works, all you need is to secure it.

that's the idea if only epoxy fails,but since it won't be movin should work ok,will update soon
