Well I’m fortunate you’re so generous, your old Sinn gets more wrist time than anything else I own.

I know its silly but I do enjoy the fact that I come across my old watches on here. Glad you like it.
I'm starting to enjoy wearing the ugly Longines actually. 2nd time zone set to Antigua time at the moment. Most of my current business partners live there for some unknown reason. Can't imagine why.

Finally caught up on that solid gold Speedmaster, I guess I like it but can’t help but feel cynical that it’s purely a revenue exercise (1000 odd pieces at £25K should gross £25m). I reckon that’s just a taster of what Omega have up their sleeves this year.
For sure. Omega love a special edition so this year is going to be Omega to the power of Omega. They won't get a chance to milk it like this again for a long while. I do like that this one is at least a recreation of that specific special edition from the time, and not some random hot mess (well, apart from the back).
This one was teased by Omega actually, I remember them saying there would be a special edition that didn't use the re-born calibre 321 and which would be gold. So yeah, I'm sure e.g. the calibre 321 moonwatch is also coming soon, and in plenty of variations.

What's the etiquette with posting photos of replica watches on here?? Is it a no no?

There are loads of Lolexes in here, go ahead... 🙂

Just had a phone call about the Junghans that I have on order. They're going to swap out the acrylic with a sapphire. Getting quite excited now.

Like most good fakes, looks good at a distance! I've got a real one, would be interested to compare.
The big differences that I can make out from a cursory glance are the non solid end links and case back finish.

If that is a fake I’m kinda speechless - and quite horrified at how much effort the low-life has gone to to produce such a detailed copy.
Would you mind marking your post so it’s clear it’s a fake? Where did you get it?

Different ref from yours and I’ve spotted a couple more differences, but I’m not going to post them. Absolutely no need to educate fakers as to how to improve the quality of their work.
Honestly I feel sick when I look at this sort of stuff.

Post edited to clarify it's a replica.. I bought it through a fella selling on gumtree.. ordered on Monday night and arrived today by RMSD.. he does lots of replicas!!
I will size the bracelet tonight and have a look at it in more detail, I had debated a real one.. but this may just do the job for a while..
Happy enough with the overall quality and the effort in providing all the ancillary bits and pieces too. Apparently its a 2813 movement..

Should we have a 'fake' Wednesday to counter the real Friday posts?

I think it’s helpful to point out the differences. I see posts here relating to people with queries when buying watches, is there any difference? There was a Longines posted recently with the wrong hands.

I didn't realise this was a fake at first but I thought it didn't look quite right. I couldn't work out why though, just something about the dial and numbers looked a bit flat. I have a real one so I guess something was just a little off compared to what I normally see.

Not sure that this even resembles a production Rolex of any kind.

I understand that but it’s useful for people to point these things out. It would put me off buying off eBay etc as I have no knowledge of these things.
Depends on what you mean as too cheap. I only sell for cheapz on the forum, because I like people here and I don't need the extra money. I don't sell cheap on non forum sales to people I don't know and like.
/Boast post over.
