• I’ve bought a 24h DT Swiss rear track hub to build into a rim I’m gonna scavenge from an Aksium or something wheel.

I have a fairly well matching rim I could build a front wheel out of but it’s 36h. Would seem a weird combo to have more spokes on the front so I could just use every 2nd hole in the rim/hub (or get an 18h hub) but at 190+ lb would 18 spoke front be pushing it for road fixed do you think?

Why not just pair it with the matching 20H Aksium front wheel? No building required, easy to convert to bolt-on if you're actually going to use it at the track or just want to look as though you might. #tester_approved for road fixed at >230lb
