Wouldn't want to navigate via a Fenix though. I've tried with my Forerunner 935 and it's no fun.
For anything under 12h where I don't need to navigate and just want to record stuff (GPS, HR, Power) I use my watch (Forerunner 935).
For anything else (>12h or need to navigate) I use my old Edge 705 that keeps on trucking (have replaced the battery myself once though). No water ingress problems despite being used on lots of long wet rides with USB power packs plugged in.
