Ah, you got that part wrong. The not as fancy joints and finishing are meant for the cheaper DT Swiss rims.
then just buy the cheapest DT Swiss rim you can find.
That's just what I did by the way. I was considering Archetypes or Belgiums even but couldn't justify triple the price of R460DBs over fancy logos. I also destickered them.
Depends which you consider most important - quality of the product or what the stickers on it say. Personally I don't give a monkey's about the latter and think the former is rather important, but if your priorities are the opposite then just buy the cheapest DT Swiss rim you can find.
