Would be interested to hear about this from someone in the know. I have seen a steamroller on pedal room with disc tabs welded to the fork

I converted my cross-check to disc and the frame builder wouldn't touch the forks. I think it's just a hard-no.

Plenty of people add carbon forks to their steamrollers but I think often sacrifice a bit of the clearance

I tried carbon for the weight but the stock forks just look/ride so much better. And clearance...
