I shall have a look at those in the shops or, even better, borrow one of those for testing.
Because by now I get the impression that I might be better off with an iPad actually;
read that high-res LCD screens don't actually strain the eyes more that the eInk displays, at least if there's no glare - and I will be using this 95% indoors (and also not for hours of reading every day).
Plus really need a big-ish screen, and for the price of those I can really get a used iPad (which has the benefit of, uh, being a iPad at the same time, which is nice).
