Found that cleaning the tensioner, but then mine was caked in crud.
Rear sprocket wise I just use the SA ones on an SA hub. Do the Sram hubs use the same pattern. They are cheap enough.

Have Brompton stopped making superlight forks and rear triangles other than for the Chpt3? I notice they're not an option on the bike builder any more.
-
• #6359
Currently not happy with supply, so not available unless a shop has stock... we sold 4 superlights in 2 weeks because of this..
What are you fancying?

Just wondering, really - I like the idea of the corrosion resistance, but as bike+rider are north of 100 kg the weight savings wouldn't justify the expense, especially for my utility/hack use case! (& I prefer the aesthetics of the steel fork.)

The weight saving / cost is not a common sense thing to me, the properties of ti yes maybe, no rust is ideal etc:
You can make a bike lighter and have much more cash with other options

I like the idea of the corrosion resistance...
You'd really need to abuse the Brompton and not get it serviced for a decades before you may get some corrosion.
Bear in mind Brompton paint are very tough.

And ED coated internally!

Fair enough; I'd heard tales of rear triangles rotting through, but obviously you don't know what kind of abuse they've had.

You've heard tales of people fucking up their bike up.

FYI - I saw this on eBay. It's not mine and I have no association with the seller - just FYI.

£100?! No chance.
Except is £85 online.
Forum rules, selling on here or on eBay, not both, it’s not fair to buyers.
Also, this is free POS from Brompton, for shops...

How much £££? ;)
Check the DR chain pusher limit screws are correct or the pusher plates sit into the tensioner wheel and stop it moving round nicely
