  • I had a fitbit. It was the single worst purchase I have ever made by a factor of 10. Everything about it packed up one feature at a time. In the end it wouldn't even tell the time, it would literally lose the time and be hours out even after resetting the time daily. Fitbit refused to acknowledge any problem with it despite it never syncing, taking 10-15 mins to find a GPS signal to start an activity, woeful GPS tracking when it did eventually start, frozen screens daily, and HR tracking as useful and as accurate as sticking your plums in custard. And battery life was terrible too. It was absolutely horrific. And all within the first few months. Best of all after Fitbit blanked my reasonable questions about it, I took it into Currys and the emo yoof on the customer services desk, listened to my list of ailments with it and just said "do you want a refund or credit note". I asked him why he didn't put up any resistance and he said "because its a fitbit, they're all like that". Despite fitbit themselves telling me there's no problem with mine.

Bought a garmin watch. Whilst it's not perfect it's Oscar winning performance wise compared to the fitbit and better than any garmin head unit I've used.

This, I had two. Deeply regret.
