Twelve episodes in I know I don't really like it (enough to keep coming back though apparently), but can't really put my finger on it.

Gervais' After Life on Netflix is excellent. Funny and touching.

Just binged a bunch of episodes, because I'm at the end of Fleabag.

It's the only thing of Ricky Gervais's that I've been able to watch since The 11 O'clock show.

It's good.

It's right up there with "Garlic bread?" for catchphrases-repeated-by-simpletons-ad-infinitum.

I think it's one of the best things on TV at the moment but it's not for everyone

Like a lot of TV comedies, works best over 30 mins, did not work as a film. I think peak Partridge was The Day Today and I'm Alan Partridge s1.

Watched* the first series, and was really disappointed. So much potential and started so well. But in the end it just seemed too unbelievable - I know the kid was thrown into it, but an 8yo me would have been less bate as a spy.

It pains me to say this, but maybe they need to get a proper US production company and US/UK script writer to sort it out.

On the subject of Walter Presents, if anyone hasn't seen Spin, the French Madmen-meets-the West Wing, watch it. It's fucking amazing.
