  • you know me too well :)

I have thought several times about trading my entire collection for a nice Rindt or a Nina

  • Porn time

    Heuer 2447 NS

Universal Geneve 885.103/2 first rev Nina

Universal Geneve 885.103/1 first rev "Evil" Nina

    Heuer 2446 rev 3 Rindt

  • New watch day.

  • Spot on.

  • Looks like Dammit's.

Looks lush. Can we get a shot of the case from side-on to see thickness?

  • All stunning.

  • Thank you, looks perfect. They’ve nailed that one, haven’t they. A GMT in that size would be world beating, but I bet they won’t do it.

If it wasn’t for my ongoing uncertainty about snowflake hands with round markers I’d have been down the dealer waving the deposit cash. Even as it is I’m half tempted.

  • It's Tudor. They make every possible permutation of everything.

  • Well they certainly have with the BB, so far. Would expect some new colour variants of the BB58 to be announced at Baselworld but a GMT would basically mean another new calibre on top of the new one they made for the 58 (it would probably have to have a date as well as a GMT hand) - but then, it might have been in the plan from the beginning.

I was saying to @inchpincher that I want them to make a new Oysterprince, as a cut-price Oyster Perpetual like it always was. That new smaller calibre from the 58 would be ideal for that. But I don’t know if Rolex would have it.

  • It's all about the smaller watches now days. Definitely expect Tudor to focus on the 58 for a while.

@Chainbreaker is staring into a bleak future of normal sized watches.

  • As I get older, my tastes evolve like the watches.
My current favourite is a mere 39mm

  • Ooof, love ‘em, such cracking design. I was listening to the Time 4 A Pint podcast last night with a Heuer collector, had to look the watches up when I got home, belters.
Orange hands= Heuer Autavia 1163V “Viceroy” (Calibre 12)

Red hands= Heuer Autavia 73663 “Villeneuve” (Valjoux 7736)

  • @Señor_Bear that’s lovely!
    @ChainBreaker the Rolex is perfect
@inchpincher do you go to the T4AP meetups?

  • Oof. So good. I read that the price of vintage Heuer is dropping from what was happening a year or so ago, is that correct? If you know that is...

Don’t make em like they used to that’s for sure.

  • Love the BB58. hopefully i can try it out by the end of the month when i'll be in Greece. what i would change, the rivets on the bracelet, a ceramic bezel and AR coating

  • @Señor_Bear @freddo @inchpincher coming through with the weekend goodies.

(Also @ChainBreaker , but I don't like letting his head get too big)

  • I would buy a bb58 sized gmt instantly.

  • Who is selling for less than 150?

  • Timex. You get 15% off when you sign up for their newsletter making it £148ish

Vintage ones are less than £100 on eBay if that's your bag

  • Lovey watches. Esp evil nina.

Thanks gents! @freddo and @NurseHolliday. My head is massive.

  • I think everyone and their dog would. But they’ll have to figure out how to get a GMT complication and a date into that new calibre. I wonder if they’ve planned for it or not.

  • Has there ever been a GMT and Date in a movement that thin? Don't think so.
