Well they certainly have with the BB, so far. Would expect some new colour variants of the BB58 to be announced at Baselworld but a GMT would basically mean another new calibre on top of the new one they made for the 58 (it would probably have to have a date as well as a GMT hand) - but then, it might have been in the plan from the beginning.
I was saying to @inchpincher that I want them to make a new Oysterprince, as a cut-price Oyster Perpetual like it always was. That new smaller calibre from the 58 would be ideal for that. But I don’t know if Rolex would have it.
Thank you, looks perfect. They’ve nailed that one, haven’t they. A GMT in that size would be world beating, but I bet they won’t do it.
If it wasn’t for my ongoing uncertainty about snowflake hands with round markers I’d have been down the dealer waving the deposit cash. Even as it is I’m half tempted.
