Yeah I'm not sure I followed the logic, especially given the suggested alternatives.
But at the end of the day it's up to people to choose how they want their race descriped, so I guess if I need to reference it I'll use one of the other terms from now on:
They advise alternatives including "mixed parentage" and "dual heritage".
"Mixed race is a misleading term since it implies that a 'pure race' exists."
Does it? When I go into a Young's pub and ask for a pint of "mixed", which is the purer ingredient, Best or Special?
