I was asking as someone who always liked those bikes but never quite understood the price 2nd hand ones went for. They don't seem to have changed the formula too much, at least visually.

why do bmw hate tall people

V2 were only 48 and 54. Have they done 58s before?

Quite like that it appears to have removable canti studs.
I really don’t need one....

I think the biggest size v1.1 was around 58-59. Is my old one still around? Think I sold it to swede?
I fancy a v4 if they’re not impossible to get hold of

Hopefully the biggest size has at least a 58cm c-c toptube....

Frameset looks good, just a shit build.
We are used to seeing them built with pretty high end stuff so it's a bit off to see them built with budget components but whoever is behind the reboot must reckon there's a market for +/- £1k completes. Probably harder to find a market for £2k, £3k etc complete.

I have a friend here in New York that says he’ll be able to preorder some of these. I’d be happy to ask for anyone interested - but I assume there would be some kind of deposit that would need to be made when the time comes. He owns a shop called Meseroll if that helps.

The prices and sizes (though they seem to be a bit all over the place) are on the W-Base website - http://store.w-base.com

This is the biggest size, so not too bad;
Top tube length 580 mm
Horizontal head tube length 566 mm
Sheet tube tube length 596 mm
Used translate so still a bit unclear haha -

Given the amount of people that say they’d snap one up in an instant, cash waiting etc. It’s strange that the BMW Instagram hasn’t released more info, yet they are available to the Japanese audience.

Yeah I’d buy frame only if I went for one. “You don’t need another bike or Brooklyn” said my wife.

I had her for 4 years too, glad to hear she’s still in forum family

Does it have removable cable guides? That’s pretty cool if so, I think they were stressing me out the most
-
• #5722
Would love to own another one, although I never ride my V1 anymore so unsure if I could justify another.
-
• #5724
Same . I don’t know why I am even looking, I’ve got a park bike frame I haven’t even built up. Should probably sell it here

Looks long, no?

According to W-Line distribution, I assume some connection to W-base (the Japanese are obviously paying for this), the price is 83,000 yen which is about £570 + taxes, postage etc, so not mental, if that indeed is the price*. Also completes for 165,000 yen (with Brooklyn branded cranks).
Sizes: 48, 54, 58
*it could be the dealer price.
